I loved the cake boxes! They actually look much better than the picture. There are 2 per pack for a little less than $7 with free shipping (Amazon Prime). I bought this box because I wanted to carry a two tier cake I made for a Halloween cooking competition I took part of. I didn't want to bring my plastic cake carrier because I had to also bring a lot of decorations to the party. I just didn't want to end up with a crap load to clean up afterwards. So, I looked online for a small quantity of nice looking boxes. This is when I chanced upon Meri Meri Yum Tasty Treats boxes. They come in various designs. I chose this one because it seemed most appropriate and also would fit the dimensions of my cake 9" round cake.The box material is very sturdy. It feels like high quality laminated glossy paper board. I don't really know the terminology for those sorts of things because I am not a professional baker. All I can say is if you compare this to the boxes you'd get from Whole Foods bakery, this is better quality. It is the kind of cake box a boutique store might give you if you were trying to bring home one of those high end $50 cakes. This was a really professional looking and feeling cake box. It is a bit on the expensive side, but if you have made a great masterpiece and want to have something really display worthy I would splurge.Right now, I think the price even dropped a little from when I purchased it. It came quickly and I think you will be surprised by the high quality feel of it. Bon Appetite!
