I would not recommend this to someone who wants a quality guestbook- you certainly get what you pay for. This works for me because I'm planning to spice it up myself with some satin fabric. I basically needed the outer covering and decent pages. The color in the images looks like a matte ivory, but it is more like a metallic silver/champagne mix. I was a little dissapointed, but I am still going to use it.It is constructed rather poorly and the pen is actually attached to the back cover of the book- it is just cardboard, covered in the champagne vinyl with a pen holder screwed to it. The pages inside are fine- white with gold lettering and lines.

I used this guest book for my wedding. I liked that it was an off white color because my colors where ivory, champagne and chocolate. I went to Joann's, Hobby Lobby and Micheal's and all carry this particular guest book so you can go to the store and see what color it is and if it will serve for your wedding before purchasing. It is plain, but then again it is only used for two hours for ONE DAY!! I added some brown ribbon trimmed with gold and accented with pearls to personalize this book and it looks great. Believe me, no one will remember what the outside of the guest book looked like, they're more concerned with what is written on the inside AND YOU SHOULD BE TOO.

I made the mistake of not reading the previous review before I purchased this item. I was just so excited that I found a guest book in my price range. The picture is VERY off color. The book is not white at all, if you're expecting white do not buy this! The materials used are also very low quality. I would not recommend this to anyone.
