I bought these to use for the cookies that I made for my church's bake sale. These are attractive boxes and I did receive compliments on the boxes, but to keep the tabs from opening on their own, I did have to use a small strip of clear tape on each of the sides. It didn't detract from the appearance, but it is annoying that there were no instructions, and for this price, that tape was necessary. I just noticed that the price has gone up almost double from when I bought them a few weeks ago. At the current $12+ price for the set of 3 boxes, they are not worth it.

I agree with another reviewer that said to use tape and reinforce the boxes for the best results. They just need a few pieces of tape on the sides where the tabs go into the slots and then they are great. I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies and was able to fit in about 15-17 cookies per box (average size of about a chips ahoy cookie). I am happy with them and will continue to use the boxes even tho I have to add the tape for stability.

The material used for these boxes needs to be made of heavier quality paper with better end fasteners. The concept is great but the material needs to be improved.
